Free Medical Services Available for Kids
Dear Parents,
A wonderful opportunity is available to you through the United Way in partnership with the Richland County Dental Society.
This opportunity is available to any student between the grades of Kindergarten and 12th grade that reside in Richland County, and do not have dental insurance, Medicaid or a medical card. The services are free and provided on a volunteer basis by local Dentists. There are 250 appointments available that must be used or United Way will loose the funding for this program. Their hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 8-1.
Please call 419-522-1405 to make your appointment. The services are provided at the United Way/ Red Cross building on the square in downtown Mansfield.
Hope this is a blessing to your family, Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Vaughn, MCS school nurses
A free vision exam opportunity is also available through the American Optometric Association. It is called Vision USA. Please refer to the American Optometric Association website at http://www.aoa.org/visionusa.xml for application and additional information.
