You’ve dreamed of a quality, Christ-centered education for your family—a safe and positive environment where school, church, and family come together to meet your child’s needs.
If finances have been a barrier to your child receiving the individualized attention and guidance they deserve to thrive academically, socially, and spiritually, you may have the opportunity to change their lives with the help of an EdChoice Scholarship.
The Ohio EdChoice Scholarship provides families with a scholarship to cover the cost of tuition at a school of their choice. There are two types of scholarships, the Traditional Scholarship based on current school building performance and the Expansion Scholarship which is income-based.
If your child is currently attending or will attend one of the school buildings on this list, you are eligible for an EdChoice Scholarship. That’s it!
For the first time, many area school buildings are eligible for this funding opportunity. There are approximately 8 local schools eligible and many more throughout the state. For a complete listing of all school buildings that are eligible, click the button below.
Families with incoming K–12th grade students whose family’s income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines are eligible to apply for the income-based scholarship. This scholarship is based only on income, the grade level of the child, but is available in any part of the state.
EdChoice Scholarships are worth $4,650 for students in grades K–8 and $6,000 for high school students. Once a student is awarded a scholarship the family can renew every year up through high school graduation.
More information on these scholarships can be found online at the Ohio Department of Education website under the Parent Resources tab.
