Distance Learning at its Finest - Elementary Students doing their best with what they have!
It’s hard to believe that we have officially ended the 19-20 school year. Our goal was to finish
well, despite the odd circumstances that we faced. I hope that you have a chance to view our
virtual awards assembly. While it’s not the same as being together in the MPR, we couldn’t
miss the chance to applaud our students and the work they have done this year. CONGRATS
to all of our students!
Personally, I want to say thanks to those of you who have offered encouragement and prayers.
In the past few days, I have had many parents tell me that they pray for me regularly.
This means so much to me! We know that God is the giver of wisdom and discernment so I’m
very grateful for those who petition on my behalf. Thank you for your continued prayers even
over the summer months.
I know that many of you are already thinking about the fall and that you may be concerned
about the uncertainty of school schedules and format. Please know that our desire is to
return to school full time, in person. That is how we are planning. Along with this planning,
we are taking into consideration that new reasonable measures for cleaning, handwashing
and adequate spacing will be necessary.
We will continue publishing the Friday Focus two times per month throughout the summer.
The elementary office will be open next week Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m.—2 p.m.
Finally, next week’s Friday Focus will include a brief survey for parents. I ask that you take a
few minutes to share feedback.
Have a great weekend!
