An investment in Mansfield Christian School is an investment in society's greatest asset - the next generation. The mission of Mansfield Christian School is the same today as when the school was founded "assist the Christian home and church by teaching solid academics rooted in a Biblical worldview".
Whether you invest in a building project, in an endowed scholarship, or in some other way, it's an investment in His kingdom, which will pay dividends for eternity. Listed below are several giving opportunities. If you have any questions or would like more information please contact Superintendent, Dr. Cy J. Smith at 419-756-5651 ext. 218 or by email.
Building Fund -
New Elementary Wing / Multi-Purpose Room:
Mansfield Christian School has completed the construction of the new Elementary Wing / Multi-Purpose Room in 2008. The addition includes four new classrooms, a cafeteria/multi-purpose room, additional parking, and improvements to the campus. Naming rights to the rooms are also available if you wish to honor a family member, friend or MCS employee.
The Joseph Fund - Family Tuition Assistance:
The Joseph Fund was created to provide tuition assistance to families in times of need. There are often unforeseen events that occur during a school year that make it very difficult for families to meet their monthly tuition payments. The Joseph Fund exists to support families during those times by helping them avoid debt and keeping their children at MCS. The Joseph Fund is a wonderful means of ensuring that regardless of unplanned circumstances, quality Christian families will receive a quality Christian education for their children.
Mansfield Christian Education Foundation (MCEF):
Our partnership with In His Steps (IHS), a public Christian Community Foundation, enables us to offer many methods of building an endowment. The following funds have been established to endow funding for specific areas of the school’s ministry. For more information about MCEF's Endowment click here.
To provide financial income to Mansfield Christian for all costs not covered by tuition, gifts, or grants.
1. To provide tuition assistance for students in need so they may attend MCS.
2. To provide the capital improvement assistance for all MCS properties.
3. To provide financial assistance for the operation and development of WVMC FM and other present and future auxiliary ministries of MCS.
• Scholarship Funding
When giving toward the endowment, donors have the opportunity to give a "named" scholarship fund where the interest earned from their gift will go toward specific scholarships indefinitely.
• Capital Expenditures Funding
The Capital Building Fund
• Faculty and Staff Funding
The Faculty and Staff Appreciation Fund
• Mansfield Christian Education Foundation Funding
Unrestricted funds given to the foundation are used to respond to school needs when requested by the administration.
