Mansfield Christian School Alumni Association

The Mansfield Christian School Alumni Association (MCSAA) was formed to foster fellowship and promote communication among MCS alumni that share a common bond in Christian education. The association supports our tradition of excellence, the activities of the school, and the friendships that were made at MCS.

Objectives of the MCSAA:

• To encourage unity, spirit, loyalty, and cooperation between alumni and students at MCS.
• To promote, support, and publicize alumni and school activities.
• To assist classes in planning reunions
• To assist in promoting the MCS Hall of Flames
• To work on those endeavors which will benefit MCS including raising funds to enhance and preserve the mission of Christian education.

Our high school alma mater, Mansfield Christian School, stands in need of alumni involvement and support. Our enrollment has reached record numbers at close to 800 students, and we ware currently building a new wing to the elementary school to accommodate the growth.

Not since the efforts of retired teacher and principal, Mike Mecurio, has MCS maintained routine and modest connections with its alumni. A poor performance in this area must change soon if our school is to thrive in educating the next generation of Christian young people. Our school must make a specific and determined effort to foster alumni relations. Private high schools and colleges depend upon their alumni a great deal for continued support and it’s time MCS reconnect with its esteemed graduates.

MCS maintains an alumni mailing list of almost 2,000 graduates and the full mailing list to alumni, current families, former families, grandparents, and friends of the school is close to 6,000 strong. Please keep us informed of your current postal and email address, home phone number, and spouse name (include class year if he/she is also an alumnus). This will ensure that you receive updated information on the school, your classmates, and special events.

One of our primary objectives is to locate as many alumni as possible and to maintain a directory that is accessible for all graduates. We would also like to begin fundraising so that the MCSAA is in a position to provide scholarships for families in need that truly desire a Christian education. Finally, as the school continues to grow, we want the alumni to be significant contributors so that every project reflects the gratitude and generosity of MCS alumni.
