What’s on tv? My granddaughter usually dictates tv, but when I DO get the remote, it’s Phineas & Ferb, college and/or pro football, NCIS.
What am I currently reading? Just finishing Dee Henderson’s “Danger in the Shadows”. She is an amazing writer! Also poking through a compilation book on the history of the Civil War through the writings of the soldiers and people of the day.
Fav Flicks? Wow…which way do I go with this….Saving Private Ryan, Robin Hood-Men in Tights, Gettysburg, Spaceballs, National Treasure. I am, after all, a history nut.
First job? Other than cutting lawns and babysitting, my first “real” job was working in the dishroom of the cafeteria at Georgetown College. First radio job was at WZZO in Bethlehem, PA. No, I won’t tell you how long ago.
Talent I want? I wish I could sing. I tried. Did the whole choir thing in school. The alto section at church convinced me that my gift is more in narrating than singing.
Favorite place to visit? Either Jim’s log cabin in Pike County, or Gettysburg. The cabin is cheaper, so guess which one I visit most…
My bucket list? See my granddaughter graduate high school. She’s about to turn 4. Tour all major Civil War battlefields. Have a student I taught in radio come back and tell me how they got started in the business.
Favorite saying? Don’t remember who first said it, but it’s “…there’s a time and place for everything, and this is neither…”
Favorite passage Psalm 103
Favorite color is Blue. NO. This does not mean I'm a Michigan fan. Grew up in Battle Creek, High School in Kentucky, Jr. College in Pa., Graduate of Michigan State University...THEEE university of Michigan!
Favorite place to eat? Max & Ermas, and anyplace that lets me toss my peanut shells on the floor!
