Mr. Don Mitchell

Graduated from: BS Miami University, Ohio
                           MS Northern State University

Don holds a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Math Education from Miami University of Ohio and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northern State University in Aberdeen SD. He is originally from Baltimore MD.

Don is in his fourth year as Academic Dean of MCS. Prior to coming to MCS he served as a teacher for seven years at Westminster Christian School in Elgin, Illinois, and then for five years as a principal at Mitchell Christian School in Mitchell, South Dakota.

Don is married to Joy, a fourth grade teacher at MCS, and has two sons that are students st MCS. He likes spending time with family, reading, coaching, and long walks on the beach. He’ll eat anything dead and on a plate (preferably cooked and covered in gravy).
